Role Overview
Support the accounting team in managing day-to-day financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing while contributing to the Trust’s mission of conservation and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Support payroll preparation and HR administrative tasks.
- Prepare bank, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end closing and preparation of financial reports.
- Maintain accurate records and adherence to internal controls.
- Support statutory compliance with VAT, PAYE, and other regulatory obligations.
- Assist with audit schedules and coordination with auditors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA(K) finalist or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and team-focused.
- Alignment with conservation and sustainability values.
