Spacemine Holdings Limited is a leading real estate and infrastructure development company delivering affordable housing, large-scale residential estates, and government-backed infrastructure projects.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Accountant to manage financial operations across multiple construction projects and ensure strong financial control and reporting.

Role Overview

The Senior Project Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, cost control, payroll processing, financial reporting, and compliance.

You will work closely with project managers and leadership to ensure projects are financially viable, well-managed, and delivered within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and financial forecasting
• Prepare and monitor project cash flow and financial performance
• Oversee payroll processing for project staff and ensure accuracy and compliance
• Manage accounts payable and receivable related to projects
• Review and approve contractor invoices and payment certificates
• Ensure accurate financial reporting (weekly, monthly, and project-based)
• Monitor project costs and identify variances and cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies
• Support procurement and contract financial management
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
• Provide financial insights and reports to senior management

Skills & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA / ACCA qualification (preferred or in progress)
• Minimum 7+ years of experience, preferably in construction or project-based environments
• Strong experience in project accounting, payroll, and financial management
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills
• Strong understanding of cost control and budgeting
