Career Options Africa Group is a HR Consultancy firm specialized in Recruitment, HR Outsourcing and Immigration Support in Africa, with offices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burundi, Nigeria, South Africa, and South Sudan.

We are seeking to recruit experienced Bobcat Machine and Backhoe Machine Operators to join a leading construction company in Greece involved in renewable energy park projects.

THE JOB

Work as a machine operator on major construction projects for renewable energy parks across Greece. Employees will be assigned to different project locations every 6 to 9 months, offering the opportunity to work in various regions of the country.

Job Tasks Include:

• Operating Bobcat and Backhoe machines on construction sites.
• Excavation, earthmoving, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation works.
• Performing daily machine inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Following site safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Working closely with project supervisors and construction teams to ensure efficient project execution.
• Participating in training on company-specific equipment and operating procedures.
• Learning basic Greek language skills required for workplace communication.

Benefits

• Work 8 hours per day for approximately 24 to 26 days per month.
• Net pay of €6 per working hour, totaling approximately €1,150 to €1,250 net per month approximately KES 172,500, depending on the total hours worked.
• Free accommodation and transportation to the work site provided by the employer.
• Accommodation consists of furnished shared apartments with colleagues of the same nationality.
• Electricity and water costs are shared among occupants.
• One free meal provided for each working day.
• Free public health insurance under the Greek state health system.
• Initial employment contract of one year.
• Upon contract completion, employees may renew with the same employer or secure a new contract with another employer in Greece.
• No limit on future contracts, allowing workers to live and work in Greece on a long-term basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are targeting candidates with the following qualifications:

• Male candidates aged between 25 and 40 years.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in the construction industry.
• At least 2 years of professional experience operating Bobcat and Backhoe machines.
• Ability to provide videos demonstrating machine operating experience.
• Willingness to undergo training and learn the Greek language.
