Job Responsibilities
• Assist in compiling and updating odds for various sports events based on market analysis and risk assessment.
• Keep track of the latest sports news, team/player updates, and other relevant information to make informed decisions for odds adjustments.
• Conduct regular analysis of competitor sportsbooks to identify trends, pricing strategies, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the sports trading team to ensure timely scheduling and availability of betting markets for upcoming sports events.
• Assist in managing the risk exposure of the sportsbook by monitoring bet volumes and balancing betting lines.
• Respond to customer queries related to odds and betting markets, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Contribute to the expansion of betting markets and introduction of new sports events based on customer demand and market trends.
• Utilize data and analytics tools to track betting patterns, customer behaviour, and market performance.
• Assist in testing new betting features and functionalities on the sportsbook platform to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Work closely with other teams, including the trading team, customer support, and marketing, to ensure smooth operations and deliver a top-notch betting experience.
Job Qualifications & Skills
• Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Strong passion for sports and an understanding of sports betting concepts.
• Analytical mindset with good mathematical and statistical skills.
• Familiarity with betting, odds formats and sports events scheduling is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools.
