CHINESE TRANSLATOR-Expertise in architecture

Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (both spoken and written).

Diploma or Degree in Chinese Language, Translation, Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Demonstrable knowledge of architectural drawings, construction terminology, and building projects.

At least 2 years of experience in translation and interpretation, preferably within the architecture, engineering, or construction sector.

Valid driving license with a good driving record.

Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and technical documents.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Provide accurate verbal interpretation and written translation between Mandarin Chinese and English.

Facilitate communication between Chinese expatriates, local staff, consultants, contractors, and clients.

Translate architectural drawings, specifications, reports, contracts, correspondence, and technical documents.

Attend site meetings and assist in communication during project discussions and inspections.

Support project teams in coordinating construction and architectural activities.

Accompany company representatives to meetings, project sites, and other work-related assignments as required.

Drive company vehicles when assigned and ensure compliance with traffic regulations and company policies.

Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all translation and interpretation assignments.
