Key Responsibilities
- Administer safe and effective anaesthesia for surgical and medical procedures
- Conduct pre-operative patient assessments and post-operative follow-ups
- Monitor patients during procedures and manage anaesthetic complications
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of anaesthetic equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and ethical practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery
- Higher Diploma in Anaesthesia
- Valid practicing license from the Clinical Officers Council
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy hospital setting
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is an added advantage
