The Veterinary Doctor will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses and injuries in animals while ensuring high standards of animal healthcare, welfare, and clinical service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Examine animals to diagnose diseases, infections, injuries, and other health conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment, medication, and vaccination plans.
- Perform surgical operations and emergency medical procedures.
- Monitor animal recovery and provide follow-up treatment and care.
- Administer anesthesia and ensure safe surgical procedures.
- Conduct laboratory tests and interpret diagnostic results.
- Advise pet owners and animal handlers on animal nutrition, hygiene, and preventive healthcare.
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment reports.
- Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and ethical standards.
- Promote humane treatment and welfare of animals at all times.
- Provide professional consultation and client support services.
- Collaborate with veterinary assistants and other healthcare personnel to ensure effective service delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine (BVM) or equivalent qualification.
- Registered and licensed by the Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB).
- Proven experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of animal diseases, diagnostics, surgery, and treatment procedures.
- Ability to handle animals safely and professionally.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
