Job Summary

The Corporate Sales Executive will be responsible for growing sales generated from Business to Business (B2B) market segments in Nairobi and environs, ensuring the company’s’ sales strategy is implemented through growing the brand, marketing, customer support, market intelligence, and building strategic partnerships with customers for the full product range.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying potential new corporate clients and businesses through networking initiatives, cold-calling, site visits, and email communications among others;
  • Book product presentations and sales pitching meetings with B2B prospects.
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within set deadlines;
  • Developing innovative sales strategies to achieve sales goals;
  • Monitor competitor activities within the region and share findings with the Sales Manager;
  • Document and report promptly customers' concerns on the stocked product range products and product improvements;
  • Ensure the right quantities of goods are available in store and are being sold at the right price;
  • Ensure that deliveries are made to all respective clients as per requirements;
  • Report on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis individual sales figures achieved;
  • Ensure excellent customer service.
  • Advise and Match customer needs with the right products.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalate accordingly;
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
  • Maintaining relationships with current clients and identifying new business opportunities with them
  • Calling on existing clients to promote new products, services, or special offers

Competence for this role - Knowledge; Skills and Experience required for this Role

  • Degree in Sales and Marketing or business-related fields from a recognized institution;
  • Certified Sales Professional (CSP) certification is advantageous;
  • At least five (3) years’ experience as a Corporate Sales Exec in a FMCG environment;
  • Must have a clean valid driving license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills;
  • Proven track record in delivering sales in diverse customer segments; 
  • Ability to carry out competitor market surveys; 
  • Team player;
  • Computer literate.
