Career Options Africa Group is a HR Consultancy firm specialized in Recruitment, HR Outsourcing and Immigration Support in Africa, with offices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burundi, Nigeria, South Africa, and South Sudan. We are seeking to recruit qualified Elevator Engineers to join a reputable elevator company based in Athens, Greece.

THE JOB

Work as an Elevator Installer in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings for a well-established elevator company in Athens, Greece.

Job Tasks Include:

• Installation of elevators and lift systems in new and existing buildings.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and installation plans.
• Assembly and fitting of elevator mechanical and electrical components.
• Testing elevator systems to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Conducting maintenance and troubleshooting activities when required.
• Adhering to workplace safety regulations and company procedures.
• Participating in training programs on company-specific equipment and installation methods.
• Learning basic Greek language skills required for workplace communication.

Benefits

• Work 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
• Net salary of €900 per month approximately KES 135,000.
• Free accommodation provided near the work site.
• Accommodation consists of a furnished apartment shared with 1-2 colleagues of the same nationality.
• Free public health insurance under the Greek state healthcare system.
• Initial employment contract of one year.
• After contract completion, employees may renew with the same employer or secure employment with another employer in Greece.
• No limit on future contracts, allowing employees to live and work in Greece on a long-term basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are targeting candidates with the following qualifications:

• Male candidates aged between 25 and 40 years.
• At least 2 years of professional experience specifically as an Elevator Engineer or Elevator Installer.
• Certificate or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Elevator Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum B2 level English proficiency.
• Willingness to undergo further training and learn the Greek language.
