We are seeking a skilled Frame CAD Designer with 3–4 years of experience to join our operations team. This specialist will design, model, and detail steel or light-gauge framing components using FrameCAD or equivalent structural CAD tools. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, fabricators, and site teams.

Job Description/Requirements
FrameCAD Modeling & Drawing:
• Create and revise 2D and 3D production drawings using FrameCAD Structure/Detailer, AutoCAD, or similar software translating conceptual designs into precise technical drawings for light gauge structures, and echo houses.
• Ensure precise detailing of steel studs, tracks, trusses, curtain-wall frames, and component assemblies.
Prefabrication Support:
• Generate manufacturing-ready files for roll-forming machines (FRAMECAD F-series or equivalents)
• Coordinate outputs for factory-based production and assist in tooling and nesting.
Design Optimization:
• Analyze designs for performance, functionality, and manufacturability, making necessary adjustments to optimize the final product.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and efficiency within the CAD department.
• Participate in design reviews, offering insights and suggestions for design improvements.
On-Site Coordination and Collaboration:
• Work with workshop and installation teams to verify design-to-site accuracy.
• Support site installation with technical drawings, modifications, and on-the-fly problem-solving.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, project managers and construction managers to understand project requirements, provide design insights, and ensure seamless coordination throughout the design process.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project objectives and deliverables.
Project Management:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project timelines, track progress, and ensure timely completion of design milestones.
Engineering & Compliance:
• Use software-integrated analysis tools to validate structural integrity and local regulation compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize profiles, load-bearing design, and buildability.
Documentation, Quality Control and Assurance:
• Maintain version-controlled drawing archives, BOMs, and production logs.
• Perform routine design audits, compare built frames with CAD models, and update as-built drawings.
• Generate comprehensive technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications that adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct thorough design reviews to identify and resolve potential issues or discrepancies.

• Contribute to the development of new design concepts and product improvements, leveraging your creativity and engineering expertise.
