Background Information

Career Options Africa Group is a HR Consultancy firm specialized in Recruitment, HR outsourcing and Immigration support in Africa with offices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burundi, Nigeria, South Africa and South Sudan. We are seeking to recruit at least three (3) Furniture Finishers to join a leading furniture manufacturing company located in the industrial area of West Athens, Greece.

THE JOB

Work as a Furniture Finisher in a large furniture factory in the industrial area of West Athens, Greece.

Job Tasks Include:

• Preparing wooden furniture surfaces for finishing through sanding, filling, and smoothing.
• Applying paints, stains, varnishes, lacquers, and other finishing materials to furniture products.
• Restoring, refinishing, and repairing furniture surfaces to meet quality standards.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
• Working with both solid wood and MDF furniture products.
• Mixing and matching stains, paints, and finishes to achieve the desired appearance.
• Performing touch-ups and corrective finishing work when required.
• Maintaining finishing equipment and ensuring adherence to workplace safety standards.
• Collaborating with production teams to ensure timely completion of furniture orders.
• Participating in training programs on company-specific equipment, procedures, and Greek language learning.

Benefits

• Work 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
• Net monthly salary of €780 approximately KES 117,500.
• Overtime hours are paid separately according to Greek labor regulations.
• Opportunity to renew the contract with the same employer or secure employment with another employer in Greece after contract completion.
• No time limit on future contracts, allowing long-term residence and employment opportunities in Greece.

• Initial employment contract of one (1) year.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are targeting candidates with the following qualifications:

• Male candidates aged 28 to 45 years.
• At least 10 years of professional experience as a Furniture Finisher and Painter.
• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience working with solid wood, MDF, and related furniture materials.
• Proven ability to restore, refinish, and repair furniture to a high professional standard.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
• Experience using furniture finishing tools, materials, and equipment.
• Must have sufficient funds available to cover all required processing and relocation costs.
• Willingness to undergo training on company-specific equipment and operational procedures.
• Willingness to learn the Greek language.
