Position Title: Graduate Trainee – Software Engineering

Position Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Graduate Trainee – Software Engineer to join our fast-paced engineering team. This role offers hands-on experience in software development, system monitoring, and technical support within a dynamic fintech environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in technology, a problem-solving mindset, and the eagerness to learn from experienced engineers while contributing to real-world projects that power digital financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support by troubleshooting and resolving software and system-related issues.
- Monitor transaction flows, system performance, and uptime for internal and external platforms.
- Assist in API integrations, working closely with developers, clients, and product teams to ensure smooth implementation.
- Participate in software testing, bug identification, and regression testing to ensure product reliability.
- Maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and internal troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and Customer Success, to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Learn and apply agile development practices while supporting engineering sprints and team activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience (internship) in software development or technical support.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript and Node.js.
- Familiarity with APIs, JSON, and RESTful services.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, accountability, and a willingness to learn.
- Exposure to fintech or technology environments will be an added advantage.
