We are seeking a highly experienced Health & Safety Manager to ensure the highest standards of safety across all our construction and infrastructure projects.
Role Overview
The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a strong safety culture across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement health & safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company standards
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Identify hazards and implement preventive measures
- Lead incident investigations and reporting
- Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to site teams
- Monitor safety performance and prepare reports
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment
- Work closely with project managers and site teams to maintain safe operations
- Promote a strong safety-first culture across all projects
Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and standards
- Certification in NEBOSH or equivalent (highly desirable)
- Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Strong communication and training skills
