MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR REQUIRED:

Kapsowar Mission Hospital is a 130-bed faith based hospital which is a level 5 hospital serving Elgeyo Marakwet County and beyond. The hospital is located 1.5 hours north of Eldoret on paved roads. The hospital has about 25 buildings and also a Medical Training College on campus. Maintenance and project work is ongoing so planning, cost estimates, and oversight are needed.

JOB SUMMARY:

1. Oversight of all maintenance activities at the Hospital and MTC which includes a wide variety of activities (masonry, electrical, plumbing, etc).

2. Ability to document needed work on spreadsheets, cost estimation, work planning, and engaging the procurement process are all required in workflow.

3. Overseeing a couple of hospital maintenance staff or hired contract staff to ensure quality work, timely completion, and cost-effective maintenance. 

4. Regular reporting to hospital management in person and in digital form is required.

QUALIFICATIONS / DOCUMENTATION:

1. Diploma in Building Construction Technology

2. Higher Diploma in Project Management

3. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in building trades or on-site construction supervision

4. Must be a committed Christian able to work in a faith-based setting

5. A CV with all diplomas or certificates displayed and three references (one from a Church leader) also required
