Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensuring smooth running of the medical records section
2. Ensuring medical records data is filed and stored according to the set standards and complies to MOI.
3. Securing and properly storing of medical records files
4. Prepare and submit regular reports as required for the medical records section.
5. Report critical information regarding medical records as required by policy.
6. Coordinate medical records section activities.
7. Responsible for completeness of medical records
8. Maintains medical records operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Qualifications
1. Degree in Records and Information Management
2. Membership to Health Records and Information Managers Board
3. At least 2-years’ experience as a medical records officer
