We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationships across multiple projects.
Role Overview
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for overseeing procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing of materials, cost efficiency, and quality standards across all construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services
- Identify and manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and track deliveries
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with site teams
- Ensure cost control and value for money in procurement processes
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain approved vendor lists
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
- Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules across project sites
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports
Skills & Experience Required
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes and contract management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems
- Understanding of cost control and inventory management
