Job Summary

The Quality and Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production and quality assurance in the factory. This role ensures products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards, in compliance with regulatory requirements such as FSSC, HACCP, and ISO standards.

  • Minimum Qualification : Bachelors
  • Experience Level : Mid level
  • Experience Length : 5 years

Job Description/Requirements

Production Management: 

In liaison with the senior quality production manager,

  •  Assist in planning, organizing and control production schedules to meet output targets.
  •  Ensure optimal utilization of machinery, materials, and manpower.
  •  Monitor and control production costs, wastage, and product yields.
  •  Implement Lean Manufacturing or other efficiency-improving methodologies.
  •  Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards on the production floor.
  •  Develop, implement, and monitor quality control systems.
  •  Conduct regular inspections and audits of processes and products.
  •  Address and investigate product complaints and non-conformities.
  •  Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and standards (FSSC, ISO 22000, BRC, KOSHER etc.).
  •  Lead and motivate production and Quality Assurance teams.
  •  Provide training and development to staff on quality and production practices.
  •  Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
  •  Interface with auditors and external agencies during inspections.
  •  Maintain records for traceability and legal compliance.
  •  Stay updated on food processing regulations and industry best practices.


Qualifications & Experience:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in food technology, Food Science or a related field.
  •  At least 5 years of experience in a food processing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  •  In-depth knowledge of quality systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, FSSC etc.).

  •  Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  •  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  •  Proficient in MS Office.
