Quality Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in inspecting raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Conduct routine quality checks and sampling during production.

Record inspection and test results accurately and maintain quality documentation.

Report non-conforming materials or products and support corrective and preventive actions.

Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company quality procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Assist in calibrating and maintaining quality inspection and testing equipment.

Work closely with the production, warehouse and maintenance teams to promote continuous quality improvement.

Perform any other duties assigned by the quality manager or supervisor.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quality Management, food science, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related field.

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.

Experience in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical or food industry is highly preferred.

Skills and Competencies: 

Knowledge in Quality Assurance and Quality Control principles.

Understanding of good manufacturing practices and quality management systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Good written and verbal communication skills.
