Role Purpose
On behalf of our client, we are
seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Specialist to join their
textile manufacturing team.
The Quality Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing quality standards across the production line. The role includes implementing quality control and assurance systems, conducting audits, and ensuring product specifications are consistently met. The ideal candidate must have knowledge in Knitting and Weaving.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Textile Technology, Garment Manufacturing, or related field.
- Proven experience in quality control/assurance within the garment, textile, or narrow fabrics industry.
- Strong technical knowledge in knitting, weaving, and looming of fabrics/materials.
- Experience in conducting quality audits and implementing quality management systems.
- Hands-on production experience in textile/garment manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure 100% adherence to product specifications as per the production job card.
- Oversee daily quality control and assurance processes in knitting, weaving, and looming operations.
- Conduct quality audits and inspections, identifying non-conformities and implementing corrective measures.
- Manage weekly shift schedules for quality inspectors, including offs, leaves, and machine allocation.
- Develop and execute a quality training calendar for inspectors, machine operators, and supervisors, ensuring at least one training per group.
- Drive closure of non-compliances identified during quarterly safety audits conducted by the Internal Safety Committee.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and continuously improve processes.
Salary: 90,000 – 100,000 gross
