DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming,
• and sanitizing classrooms, offices, hallways, washrooms, and other school areas.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, wash basins, and restrooms regularly to maintain a high level of hygiene.
• Ensure that cleaning supplies and chemicals are used correctly and stored safely.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs within the facility.
• Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Replenish bathroom supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Check and support the hygiene needs of small children, especially in early learning classes.
• Assist teachers and staff in basic support tasks such as setting up classrooms or responding to inquiries when needed.
• Follow the school’s health and safety guidelines, including wearing protective gear when required.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the school compound at all times.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Minimum of 2 years&; experience in a similar cleaning role, preferably in a school or childcare setting
• Good knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods
• High level of honesty, integrity, and reliability
• Friendly and respectful attitude, especially when interacting with children and staff
• Must be willing and able to assist with child hygiene support as needed
