Job Summary

The Shop Manager will manage staff, foster a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction and proper sub-branch operation. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1.     Meet monthly and yearly budgeted targets, both top lines and profit and be within costs

2.     Plan and execute with the marketing team and relate activities with objective of growing sales

3.     Supervise, mentor and grow all the staff and ensure utmost productivity

4.     Evaluating individual staff performances and appraise all employees in the Sub branch

5.     Analyze data and present to management in form of score cards and reports during business reviews on monthly and quarterly basis

6.     In charge of branch stocks, this includes managing the order boards for both units and spares, regulating inventory holdings vs available space.

7.     Ensure all company processes of receiving and dispatching stocks are well adhered to, signed delivery notes and invoices well filed for routine check-ups

8.     Take care of company assets, including automobiles, furniture and electronics. Ensure they are serviced and repaired on time when necessary

9.     Ensure housekeeping is well observed, in the showroom, stores and workshop all times

10.  Monitor Safari accounts, in liaison with aftermarket sales executive and cashier to ensure that they don’t exceed set limits

11.  Enforce company policies, effectively communicate values and serve as a link between sub branch staff and management

12.  Gather market intelligence, information from competition and other sources that can be helpful to the company in making wise decisions for the future of the business.

13.  Performing diligently any other duties that may be assigned to you by the management.

 

Qualifications

·       Degree in Business Management or any related field

·       3-5 years work experience in Sales in an Automotive industry.

·       Proven track record of good performance with a drive to reach sales goals/targets

·       Proficient in the use of Microsoft office specifically excel and PowerPoint.

·       Exposure of SAP ERP Module

·       Must portray high level of integrity

·       Firm grasp of modern management skills and tactics
