We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Site Surveyor to join our team for a road construction project involving upgrading to bitumen standards.
- Minimum Qualification : Bachelors
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 5 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities;
- Conduct topographic and engineering surveys for road works.
- Establish and maintain accurate survey control points and benchmarks.
- Interpret design drawings and set out works in accordance with plans.
- Perform leveling, traversing, and as-built surveys.
- Keep accurate field notes, records, and survey reports.
- Collaborate with engineers and site agents to ensure accurate execution of works.
- Maintain and calibrate survey equipment as required.
- Assist in preparation and compilation of earthworks quantities.
Qualification
- Diploma in Land Surveying from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in road construction projects, particularly in upgrading to bitumen standards.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, etc.
- Good understanding of road design, setting out, and construction procedures.
- Knowledge of relevant survey software (e.g., Civil 3D, SurvCE, AutoCAD) is an added advantage.
