Key Responsibilities
1. System Design & Engineering
- Design solar PV systems (grid-tied, hybrid, and off-grid).
- Size PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, and batteries.
- Prepare SLDs, layouts, and technical drawings.
- Conduct yield analysis and prepare BOQs.
2. Project Execution & Supervision
- Supervise installation teams.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards.
- Perform system testing and commissioning.
3. Technical Support & Maintenance
- Troubleshoot system faults.
- Conduct periodic maintenance.
- Provide technical training to technicians.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare project reports and handover documents.
- Maintain accurate project records.
5. Safety & Quality Assurance
- Ensure installations follow safety protocols.
- Conduct risk assessments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- 3–5 years experience in solar PV design and installation.
- Proficiency in PV software (PVSyst, PV*Sol, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of electrical standards.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Valid T3/T2 License (added advantage).
