Agronomist

 Key Responsibilities

·       Assist with crop scouting, pest and disease monitoring, and field inspections.

·       Support implementation of regenerative agriculture practices.

·       Participate in soil testing, sampling, and fertilizer planning.

·       Assist in managing nursery operations for coffee and avocado seedlings.

·       Collect field data on growth stages, yields, and crop performance.

·       Help implement GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) and farm compliance standards.

·       Support irrigation scheduling, pruning programs, and harvesting coordination.

·       Prepare agronomy field reports for supervisors.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

·       Accuracy and timeliness of field data collection.

·       Quality of crop scouting and reporting.

·       Adoption and documentation of regenerative agriculture interventions.

·       Support provided to nursery and crop management operations.

·       Improvement in crop health outcomes based on recommendations.

Required Qualifications

·       Final-year or recently completed degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Horticulture, or related field.

·       Strong interest in fieldwork and sustainable agriculture.

·       Basic knowledge of pest and disease identification.

·       Ability to work outdoors under varying conditions.

·       Good observation, teamwork, and reporting skills.

Compensation

·       Monthly stipend provided.
