ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER (JAVA) – IT SOLUTIONS

Key Responsibilities

1. Software Development

• Develop and maintain software applications using .NET Core or Java.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following organizational standards.
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.

2. Testing & Quality Assurance

• Assist in preparing and executing test scenarios and scripts.
• Conduct unit and integration tests to identify software defects.
• Work with QA teams to verify fixes and ensure product stability.

3. Client Support & Issue Resolution

• Receive and document software issues or enhancement requests from clients.
• Assist in diagnosing errors and providing timely resolutions.
• Maintain records of issue logs and technical resolutions.

4. Requirements Gathering & Documentation

• Support requirement collection and documentation for new projects or enhancements.
• Translate business needs into basic technical specifications.
• Prepare reports and documentation on development activities.

5. Collaboration & Continuous Learning

• Work closely with project managers, developers, and testers to achieve project milestones.
• Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and technical learning sessions.
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies, frameworks, and programming practices.

6. Deployment & Implementation Support

• Support software deployment and system configuration during rollout.
• Provide post-implementation assistance to ensure successful delivery.
• Be available for domestic or international travel for client projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (B.E/B.Tech), or MCA.
• 0–1 year of software development or internship experience.
• Proficiency in .NET Core or Java programming.
• Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of software testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel for project or client engagements.
