Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance, including general mechanical services, diagnostics, scheduled maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and performance upgrades. You will be working on a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
General Repairs & Diagnostics:
• Rebuild and service engines and gearboxes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle faults efficiently.
• Perform engine diagnostics and complete necessary repairs.
• Conduct transmission services and repairs.
• Repair and maintain brake systems and suspension components.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
Scheduled Maintenance:
• Perform routine oil changes and filter replacements.
• Carry out fluid flushes and replenishment.
• Replace timing belts and chains.
• Service and repair exhaust systems.
Performance Tuning & Upgrades:
• Install performance exhaust systems.
• Upgrade suspension systems for improved handling.
• Perform custom tuning to enhance vehicle dynamics and responsiveness.
Advanced Diagnostics & Electrical Systems:
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues with vehicle systems.
• Carry out complex electrical repairs and fault tracing.
• Conduct airbag and safety system inspections.
• Test and replace vehicle batteries as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
• Automotive certification or trade qualification preferred.
• Proficient with modern diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.
