Business Development Manager - Sacco

A mid-sized Non-Withdrawable Deposit Taking (Non-WDT) Sacco in Nairobi is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented professional to serve as .
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth and will play a key role in leading the Sacco’s expansion and strategic business development initiatives.
Business Development ManagerKey Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:

• 
  
• Drive membership growth by expanding outreach to new and diverse markets to increase the Sacco’s member base.
  
• Grow and manage the loan portfolio to ensure sustainable, compliant, and high-quality credit growth.
  
• Innovate and manage financial products that align with evolving market needs and member expectations.
  
• Lead business expansion initiatives through identifying new opportunities and establishing a presence in untapped regions.
  
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including institutions, property managers, and other partners to support the Sacco’s growth.
  

Requirements

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
  
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar role within the microfinance or cooperative sector
  
• Proven ability to meet growth targets and KPIs
  
• Strong background in marketing, sales, and strategic planning
  
• Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
  
• Strong networking skills and a passion for driving organizational growth
