Key Responsibilities
Accurately handle cash, credit/debit card, and mobile money transactions
Operate POS and PDQ systems efficiently for sales processing
Balance daily cash floats and prepare end-of-day sales and cash reports
Provide courteous, prompt, and professional customer service at all times
Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-organized checkout area
Support stock management activities and report any discrepancies
Adhere strictly to company cash-handling procedures and policies
Assist in resolving customer complaints and queries professionally
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cashier, preferably in the FMCG or retail sector
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong understanding of cash handling, reconciliation, and reporting
Proficiency in using POS and PDQ systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional international languages is an added advantage
High attention to detail and strong integrity
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Must be residing within Nairobi
