Chief Financial Officer
Job summary
Silverleaf Academy is seeking a strategic CFO to lead financial strategy, sustainability, and performance across a growing multi-campus organization. Working closely with the CEO and Board, the CFO will drive financial planning, oversee financial systems and governance, and ensure data-driven decision-making that supports responsible growth.
Job descriptions & requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree strongly preferred).
● CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification required.
● Minimum 8–10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior-level strategic responsibility.
● Proven experience in multi-site operations, growth-stage organization's, or mission-driven environments.
● Strong track record in financial strategy, capital planning, and executive-level decision support.
● Deep knowledge of Tanzanian regulatory, tax, and compliance frameworks.
● Exceptional ability to communicate complex financial concepts to Boards and non-financial leaders.
