Job Description/Requirements
They are seeking is seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Engineer to plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of building and infrastructure projects. The role requires hands-on project management skills, technical precision, and familiarity with Kenyan and international construction standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage construction activities to ensure timely project completion.
- Analyse survey reports, maps, blueprints, and other data to plan project execution.
- Conduct on-site investigations and monitor project progress and compliance.
- Estimate quantities and cost of materials, labour, and equipment for feasibility and tendering.
- Support preparation of tender documents, reports, and technical drawings.
- Supervise weighing, sampling, and testing of materials for quality control.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Prepare progress and performance reports for management and clients.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project alignment.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and logistics for site operations
Required Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or relevant degree
· Professional certifications and registrations (e.g., EBK, KETRB, NCA, IEK) are required
· 7-10 years of proven experience as a construction engineer.
