Job Description/Requirements
1. Position Overview
The Construction Site Agent Intern will support the site team in supervising daily construction activities, coordinating workers, ensuring site organization, and assisting with documentation required for smooth project execution. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or student pursuing a course in construction management, civil engineering, quantity surveying, or related fields.
2. Key Responsibilities
Site Coordination & Supervision
Assist the Site Agent/Site Engineer in monitoring daily site activities.
Ensure workers understand daily tasks and work plans.
Report any issues, delays, or safety concerns to the Site Agent immediately.
Help enforce company policies on quality, safety, neighbour consideration, and site cleanliness.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily site diaries and attendance registers.
Record delivery of materials and prepare basic material usage reports.
Assist in preparing weekly progress reports with photos and brief notes.
Document client instructions and variations as directed by the Site Agent.
Quality & Safety Compliance
Support inspection of workmanship to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
Assist in ensuring Health & Safety rules are followed by all workers.
Report hazards, unsafe practices, and incidents promptly.
Communication & Coordination
Liaise with subcontractors, artisans, and suppliers when instructed.
Assist in following up on instructions from the main contractor/engineer.
Coordinate movement of materials and tools to reduce workflow disruptions.
Administrative Support
Help organize site meetings and prepare minutes.
Maintain an organized site office with proper filing of drawings, permits, and records.
Support procurement by preparing request notes for materials.
3. Minimum Qualifications
Diploma/Certificate/Degree in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture (or currently pursuing).Basic understanding of construction processes.
Ability to read drawings (added advantage).Good communication and reporting skills.
Strong willingness to learn and grow.

5. Stipend & Working Hours
Monthly Stipend: KES 7,500
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (or as per site schedule
