The Main Purpose of Your Role
The Global EOR Payroll Assistant is responsible for supporting the activities of the Payroll Department. You’ll coordinate monthly payroll activities across your allocated countries, liaising with clients and local payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate wage processing.
You’ll also support the Sales and Business Development Teams by providing payroll simulations and handling follow-up queries. Attention to detail and strong communication are key.
Flexibility is essential – you’ll work general local office hours with occasional adjustments to accommodate US business hours.
What Will You Be Doing as the Global EOR Payroll Assistant?
· Process monthly payrolls efficiently and accurately across allocated countries
· Track and apply payroll changes from clients
- Ensure new starters are registered promptly and leavers are processed correctly
- Review and approve payroll reports and invoices from local partners
- Deliver payroll reports in time for employee pay dates
- Provide monthly invoicing figures to Finance
- Respond to payroll queries from employees and clients
- Produce payroll cost simulations and support Sales/BD teams
- Assist the Payroll Manager with process reviews and project work
- Monitor local legislation to ensure compliance and inform clients of changes
- Check work from colleagues and supervise assistants when required
- Collaborate with payroll colleagues to minimize errors
- Participate in client meetings to discuss payroll solutions and resolve issues
· Communication & Reporting
- Notify internal teams of legislative changes affecting employees or clients
- Ensure internal reports are updated accordingly
Qualifications
Essential
· University Degree in related subject or relevant qualification
Desirable
· Professional Qualification or training in Payroll.
Knowledge & Experience
Essential
· 3+ years’ experience of working within a busy Finance and/or Payroll position.
· Must have the legal right to work in Kenya.
· Knowledge of international business terminologies and application
· Experience of business administration
· Handling sensitive and confidential data
Desirable
· Some knowledge of international payroll compliance
· Experience of working with Global Payrolls
