Company Overview
Our client is currently focused on developing 1,100 units (apartments and townhouses) in Limuru. The company has sold more than 500 units and 300+ families currently reside in their three developments
Position Overview
The Head of Sales and Marketing will lead our revenue growth initiatives, manage the sales team, ensure the successful marketing of the sale of our properties. This role requires a strategic thinker with proven leadership, with great management and organisational skills.3. Role and :
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Contribute to developing comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Establish and monitor sales targets, both team and individual, ensuring the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve high performance standards.
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive coaching and feedback.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.
- Address and resolve client issues and concerns promptly and professionally.
Sales Operations:
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, including fund collection.
- Oversee the management and utilization of the CRM system.
- Establish and nurture relationships with both existing and potential third-party realtors.
- Conduct daily and weekly team meetings to track progress and address challenges proactively.
Sales Documentation and Legal Process:
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of Letters of Offer, Sale Agreements, and Payment Schedules.
- Provide guidance on purchase price calculations for non-standard payment terms.
- Lead the team in addressing any issues or responses required from the buyer’s legal team.
- Oversee the secure storage and retrieval of all sales documents, and follow up regularly with legal counsel to ensure timely preparation and execution.
Mortgage Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with bank relationship managers to facilitate smooth and efficient mortgage closures.
- Coordinate with Banks and Saccos to assist clients in securing mortgage pre-approvals and completing application processes efficiently.
- Monitor the progress of mortgage applications to ensure timely approvals, keeping clients informed throughout the process.
Strategic Marketing & Brand Management
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with sales goals and target markets.
- Maintain and grow Maisha’s brand image through consistent, high-quality materials and messaging.
- Plan and manage advertising campaigns and marketing events like Open Days and managing any 3rd party companies.
Content Creation
- Manage print, outdoor and digital presence
- Oversee the marketing consultant to create engaging content: artworks, brochures, blog posts, videos, drone photography/videography.
- Analyze digital metrics and continuously optimize campaigns for performance and ROI.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration. MBA is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating teams
- Proven track record of exceeding targets and driving growth.
Competencies and Skills:
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills.
