<p>The HSE Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and promote a safe working environment within steel manufacturing/heavy industry operations.</p>

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and environmental standards.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Train employees on occupational health, safety practices, and emergency response.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of statutory reports.
- Promote a strong safety culture across all departments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in steel manufacturing or heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, environmental regulations, and risk management.
- Certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, or NEBOSH/IOSH is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, training, and reporting skills.
