Job Description/Requirements
DEPARTMENT: HUMAN RESOURCES & ADMINISTRATION
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies for casual and permanent positions.
- Manage position advertisements, shortlisting, interviews, and staff engagement.
- Organize and implement staff training programs, including scheduling and needs assessment.
- Ensure effective implementation of HR policies, work ethics, and general policies.
- Facilitate formal and informal communication channels between management and employees.
- Oversee staff placement, confirmation, and exit processes.
- Maintain discipline among staffs in conjuction with departmental heads, issuing warning letters and dismissal wherever applicable.
- Maintain personnel records and handle workers payroll.( workers pay and deductions)
- Engaging Casual workers at the gate in the morning
- Managing employment contracts in consultation with the director.
- Address workers' grievances and welfare matters.
- Handle work injury benefits matters including court cases on the same
- Manage work injury benefits, including court cases and compliance with agreements.
- Maintain good industrial relations within the company
- Staff uniforms and protective devices issue and control
- See that the collective bargaining agreement is properly followed
- Check daily workers payment to make sure that correct/agreed rates are paid.
- Incharge of health and safety in the company
- Handle workers grievances and welfare issues
- Incharge of H.R & administration recordroom.
- Calculation of daily worked hours.
- Handle all labour related matters including disputes.
- Ensure that workforce is properly distributed and control to avoid over/understaffing
- Maintain workers hospital attendance chart and payments records.
- Prepare security staff's monthly duty roster.
- Maintain/update HR records in the payroll system
- Maintaining staff training records
 Any other duty that the Directors may assign.
SALARY RANGE - Kshs 60,000 - 80,000 Per Month (All Inclusive Subject To Statutory Deductions)
