Key Roles & Responsibilities
Receive job instructions and work orders from the Contractor Supervisor and ensure necessary spare parts and tools are available.
•Carry out scheduled maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment at garage or site locations in compliance with manufacturer recommendations and garage best practices.
•Conduct regular maintenance checks and maintain inspection logs for all garage mobile equipment.
•Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diesel and petrol engines on mobile vehicles, forklifts, tractors, construction equipment, reach stackers, and trucks.
•Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of hydraulic systems on mobile equipment.
•Guide and mentor junior mechanics/helpers in executing maintenance and repair tasks.
•Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
•Maintain proper documentation and report work progress to the Contractor Supervisor.
•Perform other related duties as assigned.
•Ensure full compliance with the safety goals, objectives, and procedures towards achieving zero LTI.
Education & Professional Qualification:
Diploma in Automotive Engineering or Completion of Secondary Education with relevant trade certification.
Professional Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience working with Petrol/Diesel engines mounted on mobile cranes, forklifts, or trucks deployed in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
