Key Responsibilities

Hardware and Software Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, mobile devices, and related IT equipment to ensure seamless operations.

Technical Support: Provide first and second-level support to employees by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues within agreed timelines.

Network Administration: Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, wireless networks, and internet connectivity to guarantee consistent availability and performance.

System Security: Implement and enforce IT security measures, including firewalls, antivirus protection, intrusion detection, and user access controls, to safeguard company data.

Data Management: Conduct regular data backups, monitor storage systems, and perform recovery testing to ensure business continuity in case of system failures.

User Account Management: Create, manage, and secure user accounts, passwords, and permissions in compliance with organizational policies.

IT Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, warranties, and consumables, ensuring proper utilization and accountability.
- Documentation: Develop and update IT documentation, including user guides, standard operating procedures, incident logs, and system configurations.

System Upgrades: Support the planning, testing, and implementation of hardware and software upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime, identify risks, and enhance system reliability.

Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to staff on the effective use of IT systems, applications, and adherence to IT security best practices.

Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external service providers and vendors for the procurement, repair, and servicing of IT equipment and systems.

Project Support: Assist in the execution of IT-related projects, including system integrations, migrations, and rollouts of new technologies.

Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze system performance metrics, recommend enhancements, and implement improvements to optimize IT infrastructure.
