Job Summary
• Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues
• Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
• Implement network security measures
• Monitor network security certificates and company compliance of requirements
• Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer and any other network hardware problems
• Install and update company software and hardware as needed
• Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items
• Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Ensuring electrical safety standards are met.
• Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
• Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers.
• Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level.
• Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
• Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting.
• Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
• Conducting daily backup operations.
Academic/Professional Qualification
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
• CompTIA certifications, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Huawei Certified Network Associate (HCNA), and Fortinet NSE 4 going upwards accreditation will be advantageous.
