Software Tester

Job Description
The Software Tester will be responsible for evaluating the quality and performance of our web and mobile applications. The role includes developing and executing test cases, identifying and documenting defects, validating feature requirements, and working closely with developers and clients to ensure smooth product releases. The tester will also participate in sprint reviews, recommend improvements, and support continuous quality assurance across all digital solutions.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
2. Experience in manual software testing; automation experience is an added advantage.
3. Understanding of QA processes, SDLC, and testing methodologies.
4. Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, ClickUp).
5. Ability to write clear test cases and test reports.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
7. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Postman, Playwright).
• Knowledge of API testing (REST, JSON).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows.
• Exposure to testing mobile applications (Android/iOS).
• Basic scripting or programming knowledge.
• Project Management experience, including task tracking, sprint coordination, and support for project workflows.
