Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Assist with system updates, backups, and routine maintenance tasks.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues.
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including account creation and device setup.
Monitor IT systems and report irregularities or potential issues to senior staff.
Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and update documentation.
Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff or vendors as needed.
Follow IT policies and procedures to ensure security and compliance.
Learn and adapt to new technologies as required.
RequirementsMust be from Tanzania.
Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field (preferred).
Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Cisco CCNA, etc.).
Basic understanding of Windows and/or macOS environments.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and common business software.
Knowledge of basic networking concepts (e.g., IP addressing, LAN/WAN, routers, switches).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in a help desk or technical support role.
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Freshdesk, Zendesk, ServiceNow).
Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
