Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior WordPress & Figma Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining visually appealing and responsive WordPress websites while also creating user-friendly UI/UX designs in Figma.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. WordPress Design & Development
- Design and build responsive websites using WordPress (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, or custom themes).
- Customize themes, page layouts, and plugins to match client or project requirements.
- Perform basic front-end updates using HTML, CSS, and minimal JavaScript.
- Maintain existing websites — update content, fix layout issues, improve page speed & responsiveness.
- Assist in website backup, security checks, and basic SEO setup.
2. UI/UX & Figma Design
- Create clean and modern web layouts, wireframes, and mockups using Figma.
- Convert Figma prototypes into functional WordPress pages with pixel-perfect accuracy.
- Work with the development and content team to create landing pages, dashboards, and user-focused designs.
- Ensure designs are responsive across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
3. Collaboration & Quality Control
- Work closely with developers, content creators, and project managers.
- Test designs on different browsers and devices to identify UI issues.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
- Ensure all projects follow brand guidelines and design standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Must-Have:
- Diploma/Degree in Web Design, Multimedia, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Basic experience working with WordPress (either freelance, internship, or personal projects).
- Proficiency in Figma for UI/UX design.
- Knowledge of HTML & CSS (basic JavaScript is an added advantage).
- Strong eye for layout, typography, and UI/UX best practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
Added Advantage:
- Understanding of page builders like Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
- Familiarity with plugins (Contact Form 7, Yoast SEO, WooCommerce, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of SEO, website speed optimization, or graphic design (Adobe XD/Illustrator).
- Understanding of UX research, color theory, prototyping, or responsive design principles.
