MACHINE OPERATORS

Tasks and Responsibilities:

•  Effectively operate narrow web Label printing and converting Machine as per daily
  jobs schedule to deliver high quality Labels and in a time bound manner.
  Detailed work entails:
• Examine job orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed,
  production times, stock specification, colors and color sequences. Ensure that
  manufactured products meet specifications by observing good manufacturing
  practices.
• Reposition of printing plates, adjust pressure rolls or adjust machine to achieve
  print quality using knobs, hand wheels, or hand tools.
• Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, color accuracy,
  conformance to inspections, and external defects using specific test method and
  equipment.
• Select and install printing plates, rollers, screens, dyes and cylinders in machines
  according to specifications, using hand tools.
• Clean and lubricate presses and components using oil, solvents, brushes and rags.
• Ensure that the working environment meets the specified hygiene standards by
  maintaining a hygienic work place and ensure that all health and safety
  requirements are met.
• Effective & efficient relaying of relevant information to colleagues &/or
  Production Supervisors.
•  Timely reporting on all defective machines to the production in-charge or
  production supervisor so that maintenance action may be undertaken as soon as possible.
   

Education & Work Experience Requirements:

• Diploma in Printing Field is preferred but other technical qualification in Mechanical or technical field is acceptable.
• At least 3 years of working in printing industry. Experience in label printing is
  highly desired
