Job Summary:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive customer engagement, brand awareness, and revenue growth across all our business units. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the wine and spirits market, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution :
Develop and implement integrated marketing plans that align with the company’s business goals and brand positioning. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies. Create and manage annual marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.Brand Management :
Maintain and enhance the company’s brand image across all channels and touchpoints. Develop and oversee brand guidelines to ensure consistency in messaging, visual identity, and customer experience.Digital Marketing :
Lead digital marketing efforts including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and website management. Analyse digital metrics and performance data to optimize campaigns and improve ROI. Manage the company’s social media presence, creating engaging content and fostering community engagement.Content Creation :
Oversee the creation of compelling content for various channels including blogs, newsletters, social media, and promotional materials. Collaborate with designers, writers, and external agencies to produce high-quality marketing collateral.Event Marketing :
Plan and execute marketing events such as wine tastings, product launches, and special promotions to drive customer engagement and sales. Partner with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of in-store and off-site events.Customer Relationship Management :
Develop and implement CRM strategies to enhance customer loyalty and retention. Analyze customer data to segment audiences and tailor marketing campaigns accordingly.Public Relations and Partnerships :
Manage public relations efforts to generate positive media coverage and enhance brand reputation. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with industry influencers, local businesses, and community organizations.Sales Support :
Collaborate with the store managers to develop promotional materials and sales tools to support their efforts. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives in driving sales and meeting business objectives.Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the wine and spirits or hospitality industry. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns. Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and analytics tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in marketing software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, and CRM systems. Passion for wine and spirits, with knowledge of industry trends and products.Personal Attributes :
