Job Summary
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that promote the Christian resort and conference center’s unique offerings. This role requires expertise in both digital and traditional marketing to enhance brand visibility, attract guests, and drive bookings, all while reflecting the center’s mission and values.

Job Description/Requirements
1. Strategic Marketing Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the resort and conference center.
- Collaborate with leadership to align marketing efforts with organizational goals and Christian values.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and opportunities for growth.
2. Digital Marketing
- Manage the resort’s online presence, including website updates, SEO, and content creation.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Oversee email marketing campaigns, including newsletters and promotional offers.
- Utilize analytics tools to track digital campaign performance and make data-driven improvements.
3. Traditional Marketing
- Design and distribute print materials such as brochures, flyers, and banners.
- Build relationships with local churches, schools, and businesses to promote the resort and conference center.
- Coordinate participation in community events, trade shows, and faith-based gatherings.
4. Branding and Content Creation
- Ensure all marketing materials consistently reflect the organization’s Christian ethos and brand identity.
- Create engaging content for digital platforms, print media, and advertising campaigns.
- Collaborate with designers and photographers to produce high-quality visuals.
5. Public Relations and Networking
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets and influencers in the faith- based community.
- Write and distribute press releases to promote events and announcements.
- Act as the point of contact for inquiries about the resort and its services.
6. Reporting and Budgeting
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Manage the marketing budget and ensure cost-effective strategies.
- Provide monthly updates to leadership on marketing initiatives and ROI.
Qualifications
- Faith-Based Alignment: Strong commitment to Christian values and the mission of the resort.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in a marketing role with experience in both digital and traditional marketing.
- Familiarity with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, and social media platforms.
Skills:
- Strong writing and content creation abilities.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
