Personal Driver (Lady)

JOB TITLE: PERSONAL DRIVER (LADY)
NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME

JOB LOCATION: SYOKIMAU
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  
• Provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation for the employer and family members
  
• Drive children to and from school, extracurricular activities, and appointments with utmost care and responsibility
  
• Run shopping errands, deliveries, and other personal or household-related trips as assigned
  
• Ensure strict adherence to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and employer instructions
  
• Practice defensive and courteous driving at all times
  
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel level, oil, water, brakes, lights, tires, mirrors) before use
  
• Keep the vehicle clean inside and out, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for passengers
  
• Report any mechanical issues immediately and coordinate timely servicing and repairs
  
• Maintain accurate records for servicing, repairs, fuel usage, and insurance reminders
  
• Drive safely during early mornings, evenings, and at night when required
  
• Plan routes in advance to avoid traffic delays and ensure punctuality
  
• Maintain confidentiality regarding family matters, travel schedules, and personal information
  
• Uphold high standards of professionalism, honesty, discretion, and work ethics
  
• Assist passengers courteously when entering or exiting the vehicle
  
• Safely handle luggage, shopping items, and school bags
  
• Remain calm, patient, and respectful, especially when dealing with children
  
• Be flexible and available for additional driving-related duties as reasonably assigned
  
• Immediately report accidents, incidents, or traffic violations to the employer
  
• Ensure vehicle documents (insurance, inspection, license) are valid and up to date
  

KEY REQUIREMENTS - SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  
• Minimum of 5 years solid driving experience
  
• Valid driving license with a clean driving record
  
• Excellent knowledge of Nairobi, Syokimau, and surrounding areas
  
• Proven experience driving children safely
  
• Good eyesight and ability to drive comfortably at night
  
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
  
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and personal discipline
  
• Calm, patient, and child-friendly personality
  
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions
