Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead a multidisciplinary squad and drive the end-to-end delivery of digital products that deliver measurable business outcomes. The PO will translate strategic priorities and OKRs into a prioritized roadmap, work closely with engineering, data and business teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end digital product lifecycle to achieve business outcomes aligned to strategy and OKRs.
- Lead a multidisciplinary squad (software, analytics, BI, data) to deliver high-quality work via short iterative cycles.
- Prioritize the product backlog and ensure clear acceptance criteria and definition of done for every increment.
- Remove impediments and drive decision-making by influencing stakeholders, coordinating with other POs to manage interdependencies, and escalating issues when necessary.
- Balance technical acumen (SDLC, solution design, programming concepts) with business acumen (insurance value-chain, underwriting, risk fundamentals) to guide roadmap execution.
- Track product performance using quantitative and qualitative metrics, generate insights, and feed improvements into the product lifecycle.
- Ensure product enhancements maintain alignment with changing business priorities and market dynamics.
- Collaborate with UX, engineering, data science, operations and commercial teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Communicate product status, risks and results to stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Development, IT, Product Management, Finance, Economics, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field; OR equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Product Owner (or equivalent) within an insurance company or insurtech environment.
- Demonstrable experience delivering digital products end-to-end, ideally in underwriting or insurance product domains.
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep understanding of customer journey and experience design.
- Experience with underwriting processes and product types (e.g., BOP, Cyber) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytics and business intelligence capability—comfortable working with data products and metrics.
- Familiarity with platforms and data engineering concepts that support product delivery.
- Solid knowledge of Agile delivery and SDLC practices; experience working with Scrum/Kanban teams.
- Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria and prioritize trade-offs.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Strong problem solving, decision-making, and influencing skills.
Technical Tools & Competencies (preferred)
- Experience with product and project tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Exposure to BI tools and analytics stacks (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and basic SQL/data literacy.
- Understanding of solution design, APIs and common software architectures.
