JOB TITLE: PROPERTY CARETAKER

JOB LOCATION: MOMBASA (ACCOMMODATION PROVIDED)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property to ensure smooth functioning and tenant satisfaction.
  
• Coordinate and supervise regular maintenance, repairs, and cleaning activities.
  
• Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and overall condition.
  
• Ensure the property is secure at all times, including managing security personnel or systems if applicable.
  
• Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, complaints, or requests in a timely and professional manner.
  
• Maintain records of maintenance schedules, repairs, expenses, and tenant interactions.
  
• Liaise with contractors, service providers, and vendors for specialized services.
  
• Ensure compliance with property regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  
• Monitor and manage property utilities and resources efficiently.
  

KEY REQUIREMENTS - SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  
• Diploma in Property Management, Facility Management, or a related field
  
• Must be above 30 years of age
  
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Property Caretaker or in a similar property management role
  
• Strong knowledge of property maintenance, repair, and facility management procedures
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective tenant liaison
  
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate with service providers
  
• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergencies effectively
  
• Integrity, reliability, and attention to detail
