It is the leading third party instalment plan for retailers in East Africa currently operating in Kenya and Rwanda. Our product offering allows for both online and offline integration with retailers and both online and offline sales platforms for consumers. Summary As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with the engineering team and other stakeholders to design, implement, and execute test plans, strategies, and cases. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and report bugs, track their resolution and ensure the overall quality of our wide range of software products.Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and specifications.Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, bugs and performance issues.Design and implement test cases, test scripts, test scenarios to validate software functionality, performance, and usability:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers and designers, to ensure effective communication and understanding of requirements.Perform functional, regression, integration and system testing to ensure the overall quality and stability of software applications.Conduct exploratory testing to discover potential vulnerabilities, edge cases and usability issues.Identify and document software defects and inconsistencies and track their progress through to resolution.Work closely with engineers to provide clear and concise bug reports, including steps to reproduce and related information.Participate in product design and code review sessions to provide QA perspectives and input.Continuously improve the testing process, methodologies, and tools used by the QA team.
