Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across multiple sites, including planting, harvesting, processing, logistics, and inventory management
- Implement and maintain organic certification standards, audits, and compliance with national and international regulations
- Track program impact and key performance metrics, reporting findings to senior management and stakeholders
- Serve as a liaison with local partners, community organizations, government bodies, and farmers
- Identify operational risks (e.g., pest management, supply chain issues) and develop effective solutions or mitigation strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or Diploma in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in organic agriculture, farming operations, or program management, ideally in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and relevant software/databases
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams
