Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Project & Account Management
- Own and manage real estate transactions from start to finish
- Supervise account assistants and resolve operational issues
- Communicate proactively with listing agents, homeowners, and internal teams
- Apply persuasive negotiation to drive action and maintain goodwill
Closing Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the main contact for title firms, attorneys, REALTORS®, and homeowners
- Explain contracts and bank approval letters in clear, simple terms
- Follow up to meet closing deadlines and resolve documentation issues
- De-escalate tense conversations with professionalism and empathy
- Ensure all documents are signed, labeled, and tracked accurately
- Cross-check HUD/settlement statements with contract terms and compliance
Contract Auditing & Reverse Underwriting
- Audit contracts from buyer’s agents for compliance
- Review financial documents: pay slips, tax returns, bank statements
- Perform reverse underwriting to verify buyer affordability
- Maintain organized records and ensure document accuracy
- Provide B2B support to buyer’s agents via email and occasional calls
- Solve complex distressed homeownership scenarios
HUD/Settlement Statement Expertise
- Audit and balance HUD statements for accuracy
- Verify fee labels and cross-reference with contracts and lender requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years in real estate, title, legal closing, or document auditing
- Experience with HUD statements and financial document review preferred
- Strong math and accounting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication (U.S.-native sounding English required)
- Calm under pressure with strong de-escalation and empathy skills
- Highly organized, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented
- Proven ability to manage multiple files and stakeholders remotely
Technical Requirements
- Own computer, phone, and high-speed internet (≥100 Mbps)
- Proficient in:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)
- Adobe Acrobat
- CRM platforms (Salesforce or equivalent)
- RingCentral (training provided)
- Basic understanding of AI fundamentals is a plus
